The Motto of the Project is “Do not keep children to their studies by compulsion but by play.” -Plato.
The necessity of this project has its origins in the need of enhancing the motivation for learning and trying to fight aganist
early school leaving via Game Based Learning and Gamification.
Games are based on the premise that players need to learn, to memorize, to collaborate, to explore or to obtain additional
information to progress further in the game. Playing is learning and one of the main advantages of digital games is their
ability to let players learn in a challenging environment, where they can make mistakes and learn by doing. These types of
environments might be particularly suited to students who are pragmatically minded.
‘We aim at inspiring our students to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more in their respective journeys of life integrating GBL and Gamification.”
